This group's research activities concentrate on nanostructured magnetic materials, including thin films, clusters, nanowires, nanoparticles and magnetic molecular structures. This includes investigating long-range order and short-range order and the relationship between magnetic properties and the microstructure. More recently, the research has been extended into magneto-electronics and magneto-optics. The research work aims at the development of novel magnetic materials for various applications.
