The biotechnology group's research activities are diversified, covering several research areas. The emphasis includes investigating cell and tissue properties at the molecular level through modelling and simulation. Another exciting area includes integration of nanotechnology and advanced biomaterials for gene and drug delivery. Various advanced characterization techniques such as TEM, UPS and XPS are used to explore this emerging area.
